In the middle of century XIX, in the place “La Boyada” of 5ta judicial section of the department of San Jose, arrived at the establishment of the family, Swiss immigrants with whom a noble tradition of Artisan Cheese elaboration began to be developed, that arrives to the present time.
With the course of the years, in the familiar estate in the heat of nailed zone of cheese production of the country, the pastures have been developed to improvements in the infrastructure, planning and selecting the cattle, with the purpose of obtaining an end item of quality superior.
From the hand of the productive growth a synonymous mark of quality and familiar tradition was born, today positioned in the market, mark “O´BRIEN”.



At the moment different types from artisan cheeses with whole or skimmed, natural milk are elaborated and just milked, conserving the own characteristics, with the scent and flavor that identify them.
